    What you need

    Materials for 6 Fossils:

    • 1/2 cup cold coffee (approx. 240ml)
    • 1/2 cup coffee grounds (approx. 65g)
    • 1/2 cup salt (approx. 65g)
    • 1 cup flour (approx 114g)
    • Thoothpick
    • Ribbon or string
    • schleich® Dinosaurs figurines
    • cookie cutter or glas
    • wax or backing paper
    • Some plant leaves

    Step by step instruction

  • Mix the cold coffee, coffee grounds, flour and salt together.

  • Knead the dough into a ball and then flatten it out onto the wax paper.

  • Use a cookie cutter to cut out the circles from the dough.

  • Now you can press different imprints on the dough!

  • To add more details you can also imprint plant leaves onto the dough.

  • Make a small hole in the dough with the toothpick to pull the string through.

  • Place the fossils in the oven at 430°F for an hour or let them dry overnight.
